As this watch is completely black, boys can wear it as well without feeling embarrassed. There is nothing on the watch that signifies it’s for girls only. 

Keeping its thin band so that people with smaller wrists can use it, Casio increased the display size in this series of all-digital watches. As it’s a very large screen, that’s perfect for anybody who has bad vision and doesn’t want to keep staring at analogue hands. The display is split into 3 sections (The day, the date and the time). 

If it gets too late at night, all you need to do is press the light button. With a dual illuminator, the screen will light up and you’ll easily be able to tell the time. 

The BGD140 has a resin case, band and bezel. This actually serves two purposes. Firstly, resin is very lightweight, so Casio can put in more functions without weighing your wrist down. Secondly, resin is highly scratch resistant, so your watch will look newer longer. 

With Casio’s shock protection, a 100m fall will not stop it from working, and due to the specific shape of the BGD-140, the buttons, glass and other components will be protected from any impact.
