Large and in charge!
This G-Shock watch combines the large screen you’d see in an analogue watch with the neobrite backlight of the digital. It’s got the best of both worlds!
Usually, when you look at a purely digital watch, you might notice the screen being a bit small. It’ll get harder to see if your eyesight isn’t that good. Well Casio decided to help people out by giving this display a pretty much giant screen! You’ll easily be able to check the time.
One of the great things about some digital watches, is this new type of backlight called the Neobrite. It’s extremely bright and lights up the screen so you can see the time, but when you try to do the same on an analogue watch, it’s nowhere near as bright sometimes. That’s why Casio took the neobrite function from the digital watches and made it work for analogue watches. So now the hands light up like Christmas Trees when you turn the backlight on!
To make sure that the watch is safe and unbreakable, Casio included its patented shock protection, which allows for a fall of up to 100m, as well as a mineral glass on the display, which is scratch resistant. That way your watch stays looking as new for longer!
Apart from the scratch and shock protection, Casio also included water resistance of up to 200m, so you can dive, swim and surf with the watch on your wrist! Just be careful about pressing the buttons underwater.

Great all around watch review by James on 5/09/2016
Really lightweight watch so it doesn't get in the way of my work. It's not too big either, which is a bonus since I have small wrists and a lot of watches look over sized. The light really lights up the analogue display quite well and the arrows glow when that happens, so I can see the time at night.
