Introducing the economical Casio Mudmaster! This watch keeps most of the important features of a Casio Mudmaster, while trimming what isn’t completely essential. As a result, the watch is not only more compact, but more affordable too.

This timepiece is a combination watch, with an extra-large area for both the analogue and the digital displays. The digital is split into two, with the time at the top, and the day/date at the bottom.

Even though it is a combo watch, Casio recognised the problem people had with the backlight, and gave the GG1000 a super illuminator. That means it’s powerful enough to light up the analogue as well as digital time even at night.

As with the GWG-1000, this watch has a digital compass, making it easier if you like to go hiking/exploring. To assist with that, there’s even a bearing memory, so you can confirm if you’re still heading in the correct direction.

Another cool feature to make it in is a low battery warning. That way there’s no nasty surprises, and you’ll know when it’s time to change the battery.
