  • A watch for explorers journeying in all sorts of conditions.

The GWN is known by another name, the Gulfmaster, and it certainly takes the Master part seriously. Black with a stainless steel dark blue bezel, the GWN-1000B-1B looks imposing and tough.

The GWN-1000B has what’s known as tough movement. This basically means that if you slip or jostle the watch, while that would usually jostle the analogue hands (making it pretty frustrating on camping trips), tough movement makes sure that the hands stay in place or, if they do get knocked out of place, they would automatically reposition themselves.

The watch is also radio-controlled, meaning that it automatically recalibrates based on where you are, so you don’t need to worry about always setting your watch.

Also tough is the Tough Solar feature. With a panel on top of the display that’s practically invisible unless you actively look for it, your watch will charge itself just by being outside with the minimum amount of light.

Unlike most analogue/digital combos, this watch’s LED light actually lights up both the analogue AND digital display, so you’re easily able to tell the time at night.
