It has 100m shock resistance, as well as 200m water resistance, so feel free to take your watch with you, if you’re afraid somebody’ll steal it. If you’re in the dark for a while, the watch turns its display off, so you’ll be able to save battery power. You can always press a button to turn it back on though, so don’t think your battery’s gone flat too quickly.
