Casio G-Shock Gulfmaster Analogue/Digital Mens Blue Watch GWN-1000-2A
Ocean Blue, this Gulfmaster watch is easy to use and easy to spot too!
Most watches, the more features they have, the harder they become to operate. Layering mode after mode and then pressing one button again and again. The Gulfmaster though has completely removed the need.
The watch boasts a function called Smart Access. What that means is, there’s a metal wheel in between the top and bottom buttons. Move that wheel and you can easily scroll through the many functions of the GWN1000, so you don’t have to waste time with the buttons.
One thing that’s particularly annoying about ana-digi watches, is that a good whack could sometimes be enough to desynchronise the analogue hands with the digital time. Not with this watch, since Casio introduced the Tough Movement. What this means is, if for some reason the hands get knocked out of position, they will automatically get back into place.
And speaking of time, this watch is one of the few Radio Controlled watches. Now, this doesn’t mean that you can control the watch via a radio signal. Instead, the radio signals are sent out by one of 6 satellites in orbit, are caught by the watch and synchronise it to the local time. No more changing the time for Daylight Savings Time!
There are a lot more features in the GWN series, so please scroll down to see a complete list.
