If you’re into street sports, you can’t look past the GD-400 series!
This watch was made for people who like skateboarding, roller blading, etc. The watch itself has a black band, with the screen being a dark shade of red and grey.
When you’re in a race, it’s hard to be careful. It can be extremely easy to slip, hit something and land on your watch if you don’t watch yourself. Usually, having 100m shock resistance is enough for most accidents, but Casio wanted to be certain. That’s why, the GD400 series has a metal face protector, which makes sure that even if you crash and burn, the watch will barely feel it, and keep working.
This protection may seem a bit too much, but really, Casio just wanted the buyers to be sure their watches will last the test of time. The GD-400-1D already has a mineral glass, meaning that it’s scratch resistant, and with 200m water resistance, this means your watch is protected from the weather, the water and from any general clumsiness. Basically it’s almost indestructible
The GD-400 series also has an interesting feature called multi-time. With this feature you can set the watch to 4 different cities, and when you’re in that city, all you have to do is press a button, and you can switch the time without needing to keep setting the watch.

First G-Shock, but not my last review by Sandy on 14/09/2016
This is the first gshock watch I've ever owned and I gotta say I love it. I had to get it for work and I decided to give this one a try because of so many friends recommending it to me and because I liked to look of it. The black face is a little hard to see indoors but clear when I'm outside. Considering I'm a gardener, that's not a big problem for me. The other nice thing about the negative face is that I wear polarised sunnies outside, and they don't create that weird rainbow effect, which you get if you're looking at other watches through them.
