Introducing the Aviator’s Watch!
The GA-1000 is a watch Casio created just for flyers and aviators. It has tons of essential features that will keep you from getting lost.
One such feature is the digital compass. When you go into this mode, the hands act as compass hands, and the square display will have your bearing in digital (IE NW or SE etc) if you have trouble seeing the arrows.
To help even further, this watch combines the compass with a bearing memory, so it’ll remember which way you were headed the previous time you turned on the compass. That definitely helps you if you’re lost.
When you’re outside you need to know when to be rugged up, or when it’s time to lose some that jumper/coat weighing you down. That’s why Casio also included a thermometer, which will tell you exactly how hot or cold it is outside, to let you decide what you want to wear.
One of the worst things when you’re exploring is when your battery runs out. Let’s face it, we’re not usually prepared. This watch definitely helps because it signals you when it’s close to running out of battery power, so you can be prepared with a spare.
This is just a small part of the many features for this model. For a complete list, please scroll below.

For experts review by Stephen P on 2/10/2016
I gotta admit, I should have read more about this watch before I bought it. While I admit it has lots of useful features (such as the compass and thermometer), there are some features I probably will never use. I think you might need to be an expert to get the most out of it.
Big face! review by Jason on 14/09/2016
Thought it'd be too big on my wrist but was just right. Really big face so it's easy for me when I use the compass. Really great that it has a bearing memory too. Would have been lost a few times without it!
Great for aviators review by Rick L. on 14/09/2016
Really large screen and the arrows are easy to see.
I'm a pilot so this is great for a backup compass too. Not to mention the features for when I'm hiking.
