Some people like the muted blacks/greens/whites of a matte watch, but others like their time pieces to be more colourful. That’s why, alongside the GA-110LP series, Casio released the GA-110LPA models as well. The biggest difference is, the 110LPA series has a gloss in the band, and is much more colourful.

Case in point, the GA-110LPA-1A. Now usually you wouldn’t call a black watch colourful, but this one is Black with Blue writing and blue markers for the analogue display. It’s almost fluorescent in its lighting. The inside of the band is also dark blue, marking a real change from traditional Casio Watches.

The biggest change the 110LP Series introduced is a mesh pattern in the Resin bands. That allowed more airflow through the band and made it feel less restrictive on the skin.

As the watch is an addition to the GA-110 Series, luckily it’s most interesting feature made the jump as well. Exclusive only to models with a 1/1000-sec stopwatch, if you input the distance of your lap, you’re able to get an approximate speed. If you need to train, this is a fantastic tool.
