Unlike the G-Shock’s Resin, Casio’s EFR-552L-7AV has a genuine, brown leather band, surrounding a stainless steel case. The display is a mix of white and yellow, with 3 dials showing the chronograph, the 24-hour clock and the seconds.

Sometimes you get really busy, so busy you can forget the date. Luckily the Edifice has you covered with a date display in between the 4 and 5 hour markers. Best of all, it’s programmed to automatically skip February 29th unless it’s a leap year.

While this watch is designed to look like a classic, Casio wanted to add some protection (accidents happen all the time). So unlike the older Edifice models, these new ones come with 100m water resistance. Also quite helpful if you’re going for a swim and don’t want to leave your watch behind!
