The BGA180 is an ana-digi combo with the hour markers, as well as the 6 and 12 being pushed out, giving the watch a sort of 3D feel. This also has the added benefit  of making the time much easier to see, whether you’re used to analogue or not. 

Casio always strives to protect their watches. They came up with the patented Shock Protection, giving the watch 100m resistance to damage. So if you fall or hit the watch, it won’t stop functioning. 

If you enjoy surfing, you’ll find the tide graph invaluable. Simply enter your coordinates and the watch will not only show you what the tide should look like where you are, it will also show you a moon graph, which is always tied to the tides. 

One of the most unique features about this watch is the hand shift. If you have trouble reading analogue time, you can always look at the digital display, but at times that becomes difficult, with the analogue hand covering up parts of it. Simply go to the hand shift mode and the hands will move out of the way for a few seconds, giving you an unobstructed view.
